Afterschool Club:
We will run an afterschool club where children can get extra help and do craft activities from 3.30pm until 5pm when the school will close, Monday-Friday. For more information, please contact the office using the form on the Contact page.
Fees:
Unlike other independent schools, who tend to increase their fees each year as the child progresses, Stillbrook Lodge has the following fee structure. Montessori believed that her method of education should be available to all, and with that in mind we have set our fees low so that we cover our operating costs. To gain the best experience from a Montessori education for your child, we require that they attend for a minimum of three sessions per week. Please note that once your child reaches the compulsory school age, they would need to attend on a full time basis. If you are choosing Stillbrook Lodge as a flexi-school option for home education, please contact the office for more details.
Fees for the school per term are as follows. Please note, these are payable in advance (monthly payment plan available).

Upon registering your child at the school, the registration fee of £100 (non-refundable) and one term's fees (refundable) need to be paid as soon as possible and a registration form submitted with your cheque. Should we need to operate a waiting list, you may choose to include your child on this for a £10 non-refundable fee (deductible from the registration fee). Please note that one full term's notice in advance in writing is required to withdraw your child from Stillbrook Lodge. Failure to do this will result in your being liable for a full term's fees.
Uniform:
Stillbrook Lodge does not have a compulsory uniform and children are able to wear their own clothes. However, we do ask that clothes are modest and practical, suitable for painting, running around and other activities. Therefore, it is requested that clothes are not designer and special in case they get ruined. Sensible shoes or trainers may be worn. Parents are also asked to supply an extra set of clothing so the child can change if necessary.
Children must not come to school wearing costumes or extremes of clothing as, from experience, these detract from the learning experience.
There will be a school sweatshirt/polo shirt which should be worn on tour days so that the children are easily identifiable as being part of the school group.
