Afterschool Club:
We will run an afterschool club where children can get extra help and do craft activities from 3.30pm until 5pm when the school will close, Monday-Friday. For more information, please contact the office using the form on the Contact page.
Holiday Club:
During the Christmas, Easter and Summer holidays we will run a holiday club for our school children and their friends. These will follow a different theme each week and will be run by our Holiday Club employees.
Fees:
Unlike other independent schools, who tend to increase their fees each year as the child progresses, Stillbrook Lodge will only increase the fees twice throughout the school, at the age of six and then again at age nine in line with our class progression. Montessori believed that her method of education should be available to all, and with that in mind we have set our fees low so that we cover our operating costs. Any extra funds at the end of the year will be used to fund means-tested bursaries for families who may not otherwise be able to afford the fees, fund training for staff and others and also to provide new equipment for the school.

Uniform:
Stillbrook Lodge does not have a compulsory uniform and children are able to wear their own clothes. However, we do ask that clothes are modest and practical, suitable for painting, running around and other activities. Therefore, it is requested that clothes are not designer and special in case they get ruined. Sensible shoes or trainers may be worn. Parents are also asked to supply an extra set of clothing so the child can change if necessary.
Children must not come to school wearing costumes or extremes of clothing as, from experience, these detract from the learning experience.
There will be a school sweatshirt/polo shirt which should be worn on tour days so that the children are easily identifiable as being part of the school group.
